Welcome! I am so excited to share this transformational course with you! Parenting, especially parenting consciously, is the greatest opportunity we have to evolve as humans. Unfortunately, it can often feel like the most challenging, triggering and frustrating experience for many parents.

We will explore powerful conscious parenting tools, insights and language. We will address unconscious, old negative behaviors and patterns from your own childhood and allow space for healing and a shift in your relationship to our children. This parenting approach and course will empower you to step into your full potential as parent and operate from a place of clarity and certainty.
We will break down the basics of conscious parenting and give you everyday tools and tricks to make immediate shifts in your family dynamic and your relationship with your child. Throughout these 8 weeks you can expect to learn how to:
Transform reactive parenting with punishments, guilt and shame into conscious parenting. Create a healthy and happy parent-child relationship built on the foundation of attention, respect and trust.
Implement powerful strategies and tools to nurture the healthy development of your child and become the confident, joyful, calm and grounded parent you want to be.
Form a powerful emotional connection with your child, see your child as your greatest teacher and use the uncomfortable moments of parenting for personal growth, expansion and transformation.
Understand your child’s perspective, clearly see when they are crying out for help, and uncover the root cause or the deeper need that is asking to be addressed. Receive tools to guide and support both you and your child through these challenging moments.
Understand the “why” around your parenting triggers which can limit so much future parent guilt, aka “mom guilt.”
Uncover your own fears, limiting beliefs and insecurities and see how they feed into your choices, actions, words, feelings, energy or even lack of self-control around parenting. We will shift these limiting beliefs into liberating beliefs and powerful tools to help you overcome old unhealthy patterns that contribute to parenting struggles.
Create healthy family rules, personal boundaries, and clear limits and boundaries for you and your children.
Parent with ease and grace and feel rewarded on a daily basis by the amount of love, respect and empathy your children show you.
Shift your relationship to your child’s big feelings and negative behavior and give yourself and your children the tools they need to process their emotions and a support system for you to have healthy reactions to your children’s feelings and behaviors.

HOW IT WORKS
8 Virtual Classes: Group Sessions
Each class is conducted live via phone with Wellynest founder Tamara Iglesias
Each class will be recorded for later review and convenience (and so you never miss a class, because we know things come up)!
Weekly Course Handouts will be delivered on each new topic we cover.

Week 1: CONSCIOUS PARENTING:
~ What is Conscious Parenting? Why emotional intelligence and self-awareness play a role. And the value of reparenting yourself first. ~
Week 2: WHOLENESS & RAISING WHOLE BEINGS:
~ Parenting from a place of wholeness and honor the whole child. From self-care to letting go of the ego and healing from your own childhood wounds. See your children as separate from self ~
Week 3: COMMUNICATION & TRIGGERS:
~ Conscious, Direct Communication. Common parenting triggers and how they can negatively affect your relationship with your children and how to transform these triggers into opportunities for deeper connection. ~
Week 4: LIMITS & BOUNDARIES AND PERSONAL BOUNDARIES (FOR PARENTS):
~ Family Rules, Healthy Personal Boundaries & Setting Clear Limits & Boundaries ~
Week 5: DEVELOPMENT: THE BRAIN & THE NERVOUS SYSTEM:
~ Support a child’s healthy emotional and physical development by understanding a child’s brain, how it works, how it effects behavior, and the nervous system’s role in conscious parenting ~
Week 6: HONORING YOUR CHILD & THEIR BIG FEELINGS:
~ Addressing how to avoid a negative reaction to your children’s big feelings, unwanted and negative behaviors and minimize resistance & separation during these times and replace it with deeper parent-child connection, relationships and moments. ~
Week 7: THE POWER OF PLAY. CULTIVATING INDEPENDENT PLAY:
~ The power of cultivating independent play and creating a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment that is child led and promotes independence, creativity, imagination and more! ~
Week 8: ATTENTION, RESPECT & TRUST:
~ How to Cultivate Respect and Trust with your children and form a deep emotional connection through presence, attention and love ~
